- Solve for Ring World 2-8-93 4:00pm PST

- This game was pretty decent for a company that hasn't done much before, but it
- was short for its size. It had a lot of bugs in it, and did some lock ups. I
- personally think this game was a Beta. I could be wrong. Anyways, I'll leave
- it up to you, the game player, to read all of the dialogue so you understand
- what the game is all about. This solve simply tells you what to do.

- Touch laser with hand icon. Show Iacch-Captain the ring. Tell him you owe
- his father, Louis-Wu, a favor. More dialogue. Ask about the circumstances of
- Wu's disappearance. Grab the stunner from your inventory and shoot the bad
- guy. Walk up to him and grab the yellow infodisk. Go south.

- Click the hand icon on the flycycle to the west. Stick the infodisk in the
- slot. Click on the flashing "MESSAGE" to read some crap. Click on Slave.
- Click on the slot to get the infodisk out. Click on the disk to grab it. Exit.
- Click on the other flycycle. Use the infodisk on the slot. Put it in Master
- mode. Click on the flashing button on the handle. You fly away!

- At a shielded gate. Tell Iacch-Captain (your tiger friend) to take care of the
- guard. You steal a ship. 2 guards will follow you in. Shoot them with the
- stunner when they appear. You fly the ship away, but are surrounded. Who
- cares? Iacch sticks it in hyperdrive and you're outta there! Miranda, the
- ship's engineer, threatens to destroy the ship because she thinks you're both
- whacko. Tell Iacch that you'll go find her.

- Miranda is tearing things apart. Tell her you'll just have to stop her, then
- shoot her sorry ass. Now she's in some sort of medical bed and Iacch asks you
- how you're going to convince her that you guys are good. Tell Iacch that you
- have some proof. Put the infodisk in the slot on the right. She's convinced
- that you are both good and wants to help. Back in the bridge, a bunch of
- dialogue. Hindmost, the Puppeteer, sends you on a mission. Iacch renames
- himself to Seeker-of-Revenge because he's pissed at his people. You land on the
- Canyon People planet.

- After lots of dialogue, you're in the chief's room. Ask him if he's the holder
- of the secret. Back outside. Another dude talks to you. Ask to meet with him
- so he can tell you about his people. Talk to him once inside. Notice he says
- something about booze. Go back to your ship. Enter the elevator and go to
- level 2. Use the food replicator on the left to get some ale. Go back to Chief
- Wetempants of the Peepee Tribe. Give him the booze so he gets plastered. He
- gives you his daughter as a present. After you knock her up, grab the rope that
- is hanging on the pole. East. Grab the ladder. South. Lean the ladder
- against the wall. Climb up. Use the rope on the rock. Click on the left hole
- to climb down it. Look at the rabbit skin to the right of the giant statue.
- Notice the position of the pegs. South. Grab the chief's necklace from the
- pole. Climb back up the rope and down the ladder. Seeker returns with a dead
- beast and he and Miranda go back to the ship. You're looking at the Tech Field
- board. Place the Earth in the UR corner, Sun in LR, Comet in LL, Galaxy in UL,
- and the Ringworld (from your inventory) in the middle. Seeker comes back and
- you go check out a ship on the right. Use your scanner on it. You both go
- back to your ship. Lots of dialogue. Now going to get the first stasis box.

- On Flesh Eater planet. Look at the bones. Seeker says he's going alone. Tell
- him you're tired of arguing with him. Back in the ship. Watching a camera
- that's on Seeker's helmet. He gets captured. Enter the elevator and go to
- level 2. Enter the door on the right and grab the medkit. Go to level 1. Climb
- down the ladder on the left and then enter the cave. A bat is trapped in a
- snare. Walk towards it. You'll fall in a pit and talk to the Flesh Eaters.
- Notice where they throw you into the food pit. Use the medkit on Seeker. Grab
- the bone fragment against the wall. climb out the hole in the UL corner of the
- pit. Use the bone fragment on the rope. The bat will be free. Fall back in
- the pit. Climb back out the hole. The bat will appear and give you a serum.
- Use it on Seeker. Climb out the hole. Walk left until the Flesh Eaters appear.
- Shoot them. Talk to the bat. Click on the pillar to your left. You'll crawl
- into the throne room. Get the stasis box, exit, and then click on the rock
- directly by your feet (where you got thrown in earlier). Seeker will jump out
- and then you go back to your ship. Lots of dialogue. Talk about stasis fields.
- Tell them you will check the files now. Click on the computer on the left and
- read up on Stasis Fields. Note that if a larger field is around a smaller
- field, the small one is cancelled. Go to level 1. Talk to Seeker. Tons of
- dialogue.

- You are by the Sunflower planet. Tell him it's best to wait until dark, then
- discretion is the better part of valor (this skips arcade sequence). More
- dialogue. Eventually you are on the shore and there is a creature floating out
- in the water. Go back to the ship, go to level 2, and enter the door on the
- right. Put on the pressure suit and click on the button to the right so you
- exit the pressurized chamber. Back at the shore, click on the water to swim.
- Long animation sequence and dialogue. You have to get the translator from the
- sky dude. Once back in ship, click on hooks to remove the pressure suit. Go to
- level 1. Click on the dominoes on the left to get the flycycle up.

- You're now in the Sky Palace. Shoot the old man. Get the jar. Get the key in
- the tube on the wall. Remove the cork from the barrel. Use the jar on the
- green goo. Click on the 2nd book from the right. You get a piece of paper that
- says 2-4-3. Click on the stool. Turn it 2x to the right, 4x to the left, and
- 3x to the right. KAPOW! It opens up. Look at the stool. There's a padlock.
- Use the key on the lock. Get the translator. Click on the stairs. Back on
- level 1. Click on the computer to the right. The probe will be dismantled so
- you can get the prosthetic hands (read up on Dolphins to get this part). Climb
- back down the ladder to the left. At the shore, give the translator, hands, and
- green goo to the shore monster. He'll come back up with the stasis box. Take
- it. Back in your ship. Tons of dialogue, then you go to the Map of Earth.

- There's a beast on the shore. He's scared. Big whoop ... tons of dialogue, and
- eventually you are by yourself with the shore monster. Talk to him. You get
- some slave clothes. Walk west until you're at the castle gate. Lots of
- dialogue. At the slave master screen, take some hay and then exit. Walk east
- then south. You should now be in the dining room. King dude is grubbin away
- and asks for more wine. A servant comes up, spills it on him, and gets his
- throat slashed. The king wants a new tunic. Get his purple one and exit the
- room. Walk east. You should now be at a guarded gate. Show the tunic to the
- guard. Walk east into the closet. Take the 3 tunics (you can only take 3 of
- them). Click the hand icon on the right ear of the wall carving. Get the 2
- swords. Close the secret panel. South. Use the short sword on the sword
- carving in the wall directly to your right. Get the head piece. Get a candle.
- Put the hay on the bed. Use the candle on the hay. South. The guard will
- smell the smoke and run in. Go north to the balcony. Use your communicator to
- tell Seeker to pick you up. Lots of dialogue.

- You're now back on the Canyon People planet and by the ship you saw earlier.
- It's enclosed in a stasis field. Use the stasis field negator that Miranda
- made to turn the field off. Close up of the hull of the ship. Click the hand
- icon on the small panel on the left. Click the tiles in this order: top right,
- bottom left, top left, bottom middle, top middle, bottom right. A creature is
- inside and dying. Use the head piece on him. He tells you the antimatter must
- be contained. Click the hand icon on the ship. Creature gave you a green key.
- Use it on the top panel. Use the stasis box on the antimatter. Get the
- antimatter ball. Get the 2 card modules. Exit the screen. Talk to the
- creature. He's controlling your minds. Use the neural wave disrupter on him.
- He's dying. Click the hand icon on him to put him in the ship and put the ship
- back in a stasis field.

- Lots of dialogue. Out in space. Seeker is in the lander to try to get close to
- the bad guys and mess their ship up. Use the 2 green modules on the lander.
- Sit back and watch the rest of the game.
